Does a 1989 740 automatic have a remote starter connector? And where is it?

"I have read that some bricks have a remote starter connector under the hood.

Not "some", they all do. Starting with the 240. But be aware that the circuit to the starter does go thru the Neutral Safety Switch. The photo shows the plug where +12V is applied.
