1/4-1/2"? I think you'd be fine. That'd be about like running 240 Virgo(240 turbo) rims .

Were I you, I'd keep it closer to the 1/4" though. I've had issues with clearance on the front fenders when at full lock with Virgos.

Another option, assuming you want a stock look, if you can find a full set of wheels from later 1800es/142/164... They might be 5.5", which is wide enough to fit 195 width tires. Measure before you buy.
