Engine bay work platform 900

Dear Art Benstein,

Hope you're well. You're welcome!! Platform width may need to be adjusted, so that the platform does not touch the throttle spool and fuel regulator bracket. To avoid risk of such contact, the platform should be at least 1.5" thick, so that it does not flex under load.

Wood strips - used to prevent platform movement - can be used to increase under-platform clearance. Pieces of 2x4 - with the narrow side screwed to the platform's underside - will raise the platform by 3.5". The platform can then be placed where needed, without risk of damage to the engine.

Laying atop the engine may not look "dignified", but will ease access and prevent back stress.

Hope the helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
