so did you succeed in getting the caliper removed?
If not,and you are still working on it, you will need flare wrenches (metric) for the job. I believe the nut ends are a 12 mm.
FYI FCPEURO has replacement lines that are fairly reasonable in price. The caliper is available also. You can try ROCKAUTO if the & IPDUSA as well.I've had good luck with all three.
If the ends get messed up and the connections are difficult to remove, chances are the caliper is very old and in need of replacement. This will lead to the passenger side being replaced as well. Not too bad a job though.
