engine speed too high 200 1993

the short answer is yes.
if coolant got as far as your air box if i were you i would flush my engine a few times its likely you have residual water in you lower end which will wear engine bearings out fast. bearings must ride on a film of oil to stay cool and lubricated. even small amounts of water negates this.

as for the iac being damaged it is possible and i would also change my engine coolant temperature sensor with a new bosch one

the ohm test for amm is not conclusive and effective. i have seen quite a few that looked good, tested good and did not work right
