Got it adjusted thankyou all for your comments, it helps to get the job done. did note that perhaps the door is not original, or has acquired some body work, as the trim on the top is a bit different thickness than the rest of the doors and it appears to have a layer of clear coat on it making the only section of the car that has this kind of coating.
