On at least two occasions I placed an order for parts they did not have to sell. The order is accepted -- as is the payment -- before they discover the inventory is not there. Then (in timely fashion) the "back order" is announced, asking if I would like to cancel the order or not, given there is no prediction of when the back order will be filled. None whatsoever.
I've learned to cancel the order. Payment is then refunded. The extra 10% discount must be in lieu of a friendlier policy.

After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.
