Need to remove broken off O2 sensor from1989 244 cat

I would be ordering a cat and a cat-back system also. But, a couple questions come to mind: (1) did you try impact instead of brute force? (2) do you think that is an oe cat? Both my '89's have the sensor in the downpipe. Reason that question comes up is to ascertain whether the cat is worth anything for the platinum.

Else the only thing I can think of to add is pull it all down and clean it up with a wire wheel and get some acetylene or at least add some oxygen to that Mapp gas.

Drove through the town, drove through the country
Showed 'em how a motor could go
I said, how do you like my triple carburetor
And one of them whispered low

(All together now, one, two, three)
(Keep you mind on your drivin')
(Keep you hands on the wheel)
(Keep your snoopy eyes on the road ahead)
(We're havin' fun sittin' in the back seat)
(Kissin' and a'huggin with Fred)

(Dee doody doom doom, DOOM)
