73 ES PCV connection 1800

Hello,

I found a picture of the original style of air filter housing for an 1800E and 1800ES on ebay at the address below.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-Jensen-P1800-1800-E-S-ES-Air-Filter-Intake-Box-/121553621345?hash=item1c4d291161&vxp=mtr

However that may not be the correct one for an 1800ES as there were 2 different ones.

The earlier version has a threaded hole for the air temperature sensor for the fuel injection located in the engine bay side of the air tube and the breather hose is connected to intake manifold in front of the throttle plate.

While the later version also has an additional unthreaded hole in the air tube for the breather hose.

You don't need a restricter, but I like to use an inline check valve to reduce the amount of oil vapors that get into the air tube.

AFAIK, no one makes that hose and I have to splice together 2 hoses, 1 with a 90° bend, to make up a hose long enough to fit.
