Uncle Art,

I only blame the Alzheimer's or dementia and sucking on Volvo fumes since 1973.

And the later 1970s 240/260s had this same oil reset. Or was it the EGR reset in 1979. Where was a cable or connector between the mechanical speedo and the EGR box? Goodness knows I'd repaired enough 80s models to know when I was mechanic-ing to pay for college and rent.

Not unlike my confusion with that rear cylinder head valve cover gasket half-moon plug. It becomes round on the low-friction OHC redblock 4-bangers.

Thanks,

Duffy.
