m47 transmission

Your reverse indent plate will need to be adjusted to relieve this problem. Carefully remove the rubber boot with the 4 push on plastic fasteners on the corners of the boot. Once you elevate the boot a-bit you will see a gold plate on the left side with two 10mm ? bolt heads. Adjust accordingly , it should be to the left. Your biggest job will be installing those 4 push pin plastic fasteners to install the rubber boot back to the trans. tunnel.
