My 2cents. I have a generic green light mounted in the dash...POs had made a few holes over the years. It is plenty bright for day time . I do not like bright cockpit lights at night so I have the light wired backwards, that way it is only on when I am i n 4th...just my way. BTW my toggle switch is gear shift mounted, truck splitter style, so I can tell if it is on or off by the switch's position.
