My grandson has had 3 240's and he really loves them, although his daily drive is a newer Hyundai Veloscitor (sp?). He buys them, does a little work on them and always makes some money when he sells them. Seems to have no problem selling either. My impression is they are lumbering but comfortable and seem pretty safe. I wouldn't trade my 122s for one though. There are a lot of 240s around here in Southwest Connecticut and in a variety of condition. Very rare to see a 122, almost never see a 544. Road salts and sand destroy them. The 240s built after the bodies were galvanized do better. Not that I ever would use such a sexist term or follow thru on any propositions put forth, due to my marital status, but 122s are definitely "babe magnets". Not sure why they get so much positive attention from the ladies they just do. Men like them too-lots of thumbs up and/or questions-miles? age? you the original owner? I must look pretty old, as I was a high school sophmore when my 2 door was new.
