broken tooth ? 120-130 1967

Thanks for the tip.

I loosened the timing cover, moved it forward a little, and turned the motor over a few times. All the cam gear teeth are present and accounted for. Looking at the pictures in the manual the gear looks to be 6-7 inches in diameter and maybe 3/4" wide. The piece that came out is roughly 1/2" long, or most of one tooth, which would have been easy to see.

That's a relief. Now I can start saving for a set of pistons...
