removing rear hubs to replace backing plates S90-V90

The brake disc backing plates on the rear wheels of my wife's V90 are rotted away. I've obtained some new ones. How difficult is it to remove the rear hub for the replacement? I don't need to replace the wheel bearing assembly, only remove the hub.

What type of puller is needed? How hard it is to reinstall?
