Cheap electric impacts that work.

About all the 18V guys will do 99% of what you need. I still have to break loose some fasteners on the terrible mid-1990's GM products I work on for the race team with a breaker bar. So if you already have a dewalt/milwaukee/bosch/ryobi system for home remodel...I STRONGLY recommend an impact wrench for LOOSENING fasteners.

Of course, I still am a firm believer it is a crutch that can bite you in the butt. If you don't take the normal precautions on heavily corroded fasteners, you are still going to shear a lot of crap off and make you like more complex. I don't give a crap on most of my GM stuff but on my DD, I still use mostly hand tools.
