If you are asking about mechanical fuel pumps, then nothing is different, well mostly nothing different.

All of the B18, B20 and B30 fuel pumps are interchangeable.

However, the very early fuel pumps have female NPT threaded holes for either brass fittings or for fuel hose assemblies with crimped fittings on the ends, but by using straight hose barbs allows you to bolt 1 on a later car.
