I agree with you guys. My daily driver is a newer XC70, but I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't a certified pre-owned. They can fix all the electronics and use all the special tools their hearts desire. That car most certainly doesn't get good mpg (might be the big turbo and the lead foot), but the emissions are pretty low. Then again, those have never been my criteria for buying a car.
When I take the PV out or even open the hood, it makes me smile. It's easy, simple, and friendly. If it doesn't work....gas? air? spark? Done.
