27 years And I still get ammused 1989

Funny, in all of the Volvo cars that I owned, and all the miles that I drove (sometimes over terrible roads in the UP of Michigan and northern WI), I only ever replaced one pair for my own cars. They just never wore out. I was very meticulous about keeping any rubber boots clean when possible. Other than that, I didn't do anything.

I did wear out (and replace) pretty much everything else outside of engines, though. Even a transmission. Once.
