I think that self-driving cars ARE a good idea if they keep designing cars like -

tail lights that aren't red.

directional signals in tunnels and no side lights - so you cannot see then except directly head on.

pedals that are designed that people cannot figure out which is which and drive into buildings.

vehicles with tiny rear and side windows, so that you can't see anything to the rear except the package shelf and the rear window frame.

Cars with a plethora of distractions designed by children who don't want to drive anyway.

I say, don't let the morons drive, we, who drive real cars WILL BE SAFER.
