I got it out, no problem. Getting it over the crossmember is the trick. I just don't like the fooling about caused by the pipes. If you drop the rear of the trans the pipes hit the firewall,. If you raise the engine the pipes hit the firewall. You have to do a combination of gradually lowering the trans and raising the engine to slip it through the gap.
The hood is longer than the fenders. The door and fender gaps are all good all the way back. Not that I really care, it just seemed to maybe relate to these pipes.
