Looked at 142, have to decide whether to buy 140-160 1972

For a car that is over 40 yrs old with the original paint, it sure looks good.
The turn signal stocks are available on e bay from time to time. The 164 uses the same. The door trim is the same up to the early 242s but they can be costly on e bay. Try looking at a local boneyard.
I am in the midst of restoring my 74 144, and got most of my door and window rubbers from the 240 series. They are pretty much the same. Only difficult part could be your window rubbers. Later cars did not have the quarter glass.
Even the front and rear windscreen is the same as the 240. I just had mine replaced.
All the best. Hope you buy it :).
