I'm guessing you've not replaced lower ball joints on this car... if you had done that job, you'd know how to do the springs.
Jack up and support car by ether the body and/or the crossmember. Loosen, but don't remove the shocks. Leave them in to hold the spring in when the spring goes "PTWAAAANNNNGGGG"... You don't want the spring to remove your head.
Jack up the crossmember, compressing the spring. Release lower ball joint, either by taking the four bolts out, or by pulling it out of spindle. Or both.
Finish taking out nuts that hold the top of the shock in.
Lower cross member SLOWLY until spring is loose (Here is the potential PTWAAAANNNGGGG). Remove final bolts at bottom of shock and remove, remove spring.
Since you haven't done the lower ball joints, now would be a good time to just replace them too...
Install pretty much reverse and straight forward. Not having don't lowering springs, I could only speculate on difficulties you might encounter on installation. But you'll figure it out.
