I use a fas trax tool. Two vinyl floor tiles with grease spread between them makes decent turntables. You should be able to get it set within 0.25 deg. You need a special tool to adjust the nut. I made one out of 1/8" plate and a socket extension but i see that skandix now sells SVO 2201 which is their part #1059124.
