Leaky overdrive

It looks as though the cover was upside down and filled with water for quite some time.
The inside of the cover has a water line of rust, since the cover won't rust, it is just a deposit from the rusting shift rod.
Eric (planetman) was able to locate a good used shift rod for me and now all is good.
I'm fortunate to live fairly near Eric's shop and I have yet to need or want a part he doesn't have, or can't get within a couple of days.
