Manifold/header recommendations 1800 1971

I've been looking.... One of the Swedish headers came in 4 sizes, but they might have stopped selling them or the company doesn't exsist anymore. The Typ 1 45-45 size is the same size as stock, but it's simply too big for most things. 45mm is enough for 250hp, 4x 1.75" into a 2.5" collector and exhaust on each side is typical for up to 500hp in any V8, the Swedish headers are just giving away grunt for no HP gain. Here in .au, 1.5" into 1.75" into 2" is the off the shelf header for 2L Ford & Datsun 4 bangers, and you need twin 45 DCOE's, a good head and a big cam before getting something bigger custom made.

Number 1 rule for me is the primary should not be bigger than the exhaust valve. 35mm = 1.378" which is 1.5" or 38mm OD. Even a good exhaust port with a 37 or 38mm valve in it will have trouble beating 1.5" OD pipe.
