Parallel Flow Condenser question HELP ! 200

Scott

You said:
"Does it matter where I have the high pressure and low pressure fittings?"

I assume you mean on the condenser? If so, then yes. I have them in my garage attic at the moment and can not get to them but will as soon as I can move my 89' out of the way. There is an upper and lower connection. Once I get one out and its appropriate hoses I will tell you.

"Thought I would put the high pressure in the hose behind the grill since the grill is easy to remove, would be easy to get to. Thought about putting the low pressure/ fill fitting on the hose between the firewall and the cam cover, again, where it is easy to get to. Does it matter where I put the fitting, as long as it's downstream of the evaporator and before the compressor.? Or does it need to be close to the compressor?"

I do not have a good answer for you here, though I believe someone else here has asked the same question just recently and was told where to put the fill ports. When I say recently, I mean with in the last couple of weeks so you should be able to scroll back and find the discussion.

As soon as I can get to the condenser I'll post back.

Matt
