Strut recommendations 700 1989

I've not ever owned a 700-900-(the REAL)90 Series, yet here goes.

- Bilstein Touring (B4) (Like the Boge Turbo Gas of your year or yesteryear.)
- Bilstein HD (B8)

Please see here as 700-series chassis number in your model year range may decide what rear Bilstein HD damper you'll use.

Hecho in Mexico Sachs (by Boge or Boge, by Sachs?) is nothing what it was. I'm unsure what you may get from the stealership or Tasca Volvo Parts from the Tasca Dealership in Rhode Island. I doubt these are Made in Germany Boge your 1989 745 Turbo came with.

Else, Koni. There may be more than the one version of Koni iPd offers you.

Please consider inspection of suspension wear items bits like bushings, strut mounts, ball joints. If brake fluid is darker than a dark tan, consider brake fluid flush using a Motive or like power bleeder.

Also, I'm unsure, yet you may still have a front wheel hub that needs occasional inspection for NLGI-2 grease pack, grease seal (interior side), and bearing castle nut tension. Unless your year uses the sealed bearings front and rear.
