I have a variety of Dewalt 18 volt battery powered tools, including an impact driver. I also have several Dewalt shop tools (table saw, miter saw, router.) Never disappointed with Dewalt.

If I were buying now, (and wasn't so invested in 18 volt batteries), I'd probably go for the 20 volt Dewalt.
