91 245overdrive switch doesn't function 200 1991

Hi Art,

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't know that it locked out 4th gear. I do know It didn't work on this car when I acquired it some months ago. On my old 740, hitting the switch dropped the gearing (down to 3rd, I know now) but on my 91 245, it just turns on the light. On my 85 244, I don't even get the light.

I'll have to begin troubleshooting in the dark, so to speak.

I don't understand who someone would want to defeat this switch? I always found it handy.
