Hi All,

It's all done. I installed new tires over the weekend in MD and drove back to NY today. As I expected, it wasn't too hard. I bought 185 instead of 195, I couldn't say no to $35 per tire deal. The ride is smooth and quiet. So far, I changed 5 tires, I got 8 more to go. Wish me luck.

Here are a few tips from me.
1. Use soapy water.
2. If you don't have a garage, you can mount the HFT tire changer on a wooden pallet. During tire installation, you can wedge the pallet against the wall or parked "parts" car so that it doesn't spin.
3. Use a tire iron/pry bar to push down the last 30% of tire bead over the rim/wheel. You just flip it, done.
4. Cut old valve stem off. Pull the valve stem using a pliers, plus push the valve with your other hand from underneath.
5. I didn't remove the valve stem core to fill up air. It takes longer to fill up but maybe that's a good thing for a guy like me.
