In Washington I had always used the chassis number off the ID plate, this car was titled with the model and year as the VIN here in New Mexico before I owned it. I’m just trying to remember if there is a number stamped in the body or frame. New Mexico DMV would not accept the ID plate on my ‘49 Dodge because it was screwed on just like old Volvo ones
