The code is meant to show fuel injection (FI) related faults.

So if car runs fine then the 1-1-1 code means no FI faults.

If car doesn't run fine even with 1-1-1 code means no FI faults but the fault lies elsewhere. Examples are faulty battery, starter, fuel pump, poor fuel quality, fouled plugs, clogged filter and so on.
