I'm pretty sure it was indeed an LH1 fuel system originally, especially that it came from California, where LH1 was introduced in 82. Those AMMs (-001) are rare, so only the author has a clue whether it has been adapted to present-day reality over the years, or kept as originally designed. Did he say the filter he changed was under the hood? I missed that.

My squinting at the parts fiche tells me 498960 is a valid engine number for a 1982 B21F, but I see also 961, 962, 963, 964, and 965 listed. But that fuel rail, what I can see of it, does not look like LH1 to me.

Edit: Now I see the filter on the firewall in the AC service picture! Yup, Matt has a compilation car.
