Thanks for the reply Dud. I have read all there is (I think) on the forum, and am part way through the job. It looks like I will be just replacing the antiroll bar drop links and the conical bushes where the radius rod joins the control rod. These are all quite easy to do.
The inner bushes on the control rod and the radius rod (which definitely need a press to change) look pretty good, so I will be leaving them alone for the time being.
I did buy a complete front suspension kit from SKANDIX which has all of the bushes/ball joints/drop links etc. so I have the full set for when the time comes to change things.
My 940 is a 1991 UK spec 945 (estate/wagon) with a B200F engine, RHD of course. Built in Belgium but designed in Sweden. I have owned itsince 1995 and covered around 300K miles, still on original clutch/engine/gearbox/axle, so a great car!!
Anyone who has done these inner bushes with or without a press please let me have your views on what is required. A hydraulic press would be a useful addition to my garage, so I wouldn't be buying it just for doing this job, but I want to get something which would be powerful enough without going too large!
