That appears to be the consensus so I'll order a set of hoses from Classic Volvo Restoration once they're back from their break this week. I've had mixed success with VP lately.

My copper washers I got from them have been leaking, although it may be that the banjo bolt has had it as well. I had to replace the junction when the central line was knocked to a 25 degree angle ruining the threads, and I wonder if whatever impact caused that also reshaped the banjo bolt's head preventing a good seal.

I'll get this old girl rolling again, mark my words!
