thanks for the replies - I don't know much about doing this so want to make it as simple and 'plug and play' as possible - so negative ground, 12v, 4cyl, so the only work would be mounting it, giving it power, and hooking up to the distributor.

Honestly, the only real use for me at least would be rpm at highway speeds; everything less is ears...
