Hi,
Facet use to be a stand alone Italian company but now they are part of the Purolator company or the other way around. A matter of a merge of distribution points.
So it’s safe to say it’s a mixed bag company now.

I recently purchased a fuel pump for my RV generator made by Koehler in the mid eighties.
My local auto-electric store had one in his upstairs storage area stashed away.
The plastic packaging was yellow with age. It was an original Facet manufactured pump. He sold it to me for the old price of back when he had it down on the floor!
It works just like the original old one.
After tearing open the old pump I found that the diaphragm rotted away.
The way it was built, I think it has fifties parts and design in it.
It was really sturdy and simplified to last.
It hit me that I just replaced the pump with one that is not compatible with alcohol but that old one still worked for a long long time. So I feel it’s going to out last me and the Motorhome.
Besides how much fuel does a generator use anyway.
You can say I got what I paid for and did him a favor buying it.
They are more than $90 now, but they tout its electronic!
The company has always been innovative if you look up their history.

So with that, it’s probably ok as long as you like Italian electrics?
Probably better than Lucas ever was? (:-)
