91 740 regina . Many years agoI replaced every capacitor in the speedo and it did not work. There was so much goo from the leaky caps that flowed unto the pins of the Integrated circuits (ICs) and without testing
I concluded that the Ics went bad. I gave up and bought one from ebay as I could not source those Ics. It was not the correct year as the clock is now manually set and the fuel gauge reads backwards. When the gauge reaches the half point mark I have about 100 miles to empty. I still have the old one , somewhere in my garage.
