Hi Dave,

I do have something called 'flex tape'. You have probably seen it advertised in a flamboyant manner, repairing boat bottoms, etc. [which probably work for one day or so]. It is rubberized and sticky. Might do the job.

I am reconsidering. If I can get the serrated base tab stuck back in place I might not need to pull the mount. I will take a look at it today.
