Hi J,

If you can't buy it, build it.

That's the motto of a Newfie YouTuber. If you search 'Fitzee's Fabrications' on Youtube, you'll find numerous videos on building floor panels, fender panels, and pretty much any sheet metal on a car that's rusted out. His repairs on rusty metal under windows are especially good.

He uses a novel technique that he calls 'cut and butt' which produces distortion free , lapless welded repairs using not much more than a 110 v mig welder and a small grinder.

If your inner fender needs localized patching and you can't find a better one at a reasonable price .
