Checking the voltage is a good idea. Also, before you jump into replacing the main pump check to see if you are getting fuel at the fuel rail per pdunn. If you don’t have one already I would consider getting an additional fuel filter. Emptying the tank and starting with fresh fuel before installing a new main pump (expensive) is also recommended.
