Replaced my old speakers

Oh hi - you and I were conversing in your head unit thread. I too, am replacing the speakers in my car. The left front is completely dead, so I'm starting with the front door speakers. Since I'm using inexpensive ones, and my car is 28 years old, I'll likely do the rears in time, as well. Should make a very worthwhile difference for both of our cars.

I'm hoping to get to the speakers today, but I also need to change the rear cassette (and lengthen the chain) on one of my bicycles. That's kind of a priority, plus I know what I'm getting into with the bike. I'm going to have to make or buy adapters to use standard sized speakers in the 940 doors, so today might just be a fact-finding exploration, although I do have a new set in hand if things go well. How about yours, does the 240 accept standard sized speakers?
