Tires for 1980 244?

I had good luck with Kumho Solus which I bought because they were recommended here on the Brickboard. Also, they were less expensive than some others. Where to go? The last two sets of tires I bought were from Tire Rack and I had them shipped. As for retail stores, I can't make a suggestion.

Like yourself, I am a big fan of Michelin but the closest you can get for the 240 is 195/60-15. You would have to buy wheels as well as tires if you go that way. It's obviously an added expense. And the Michelins are already more pricey than other brands.

And, as mentioned by others, 185/70-14 is what Volvo equipped the 244 with when new. But I notice the one source I mentioned seems to think it's 195. Others too, apparently.
