I looked in some of the Volvo catalogs and Volvo didn't offer the main caps as a separately available part, so I can't say if they are or aren't the same.

Even if they are the same, you would need to have the block with replaced main caps aligned bored to ensure that the crankshaft would rotate smoothly.
