Chuck Jaxel and O2 sensor

Charles: your email addres does not work for me.

I was having trouble with microsoft error trying to get to respond on the

Brick board.

After re reading your post the O2 sensor is merely reading what is

happening and sending info to computer. It can't "try to fix" the condition, it is only reporting what is happening.

Chuck : the reason I posted was 1.to make sure the measuring was correctly

interpreted, and if you used a DVM then it is correct.

2. to point out that it (O2 sensor)may be working correctly and whatever is

causing the leanness is more than the system can compensate for. Such as

leaks in your bellows coming from the AMM, something is really

driving the lean condition. I would bet your O2 sensor is working it is just

reporting what is going on.

There is a really good writeup at

www.mr2.com/TEXT/O2_Sensor.html which I have posted

before.

Sheldon
