What is your reason for rewiring an entire vehicle...sounds a lot like a saturation bombing solution. Even if I had an engine fire, I wouldn't rewire the whole darn car! The wire used on just about all Volvos I've seen was, and typically is still just fine...it might be better to locate specific problem connectors and replace them with new crimps. If specific wires need replacing, dont forget to use 600 Volt rated type...certainly not because of voltage, but because thicker insulation will endure better in a (high vibration environment such as a) car.
