Engine Idle Rough 200 1993

When I first start the car, idle is very rough and engine almost quit.

When the car is warmed up idle is ok.

Volvo mechanic claims he replaced the termister.

I cleaned the throtle body and adjusted the switch.

I have noticed that when I step on the brake, the engine really wants to quit, and it shakes a lot. Could it be something to do with the brake booster?

Desperate in Orlando Florida.
