To get at relays, pop out cigar lighter, than pop off the square plastic surrounding it. There are two screws under this that need to be removed. Then swing this box out left side first. To remove fuse-relat panel, there are two white plastic ears, one on each side. Push the ears to the side and lift up on the front of the panel pulling out after passing the ears.
The source of juice on the locks is a little difficult to locate at it is only inermittent as I recall. You really need a good wiring diagram and then you can go places. The Volvo diagrams are priceless when you see all the different colored wires in their various bundles.
