Has anyone ever experienced a clunking coming from the differential when the clutch pedal is pressed. Before everyone starts shouting "U-joints", let me say that my U-joints are new and I have taken them out and inspected them after this noise started, and they are in good shape. Anyhow the u-joint clunk usualy happens when the engine torques the driveshaft, right?. This clunk happens when torque is removed, (with the clutch). It sounds like its comming from the back of the vehicle as opossed to the clutch itself. Also I've checked to make sure everthing is bolted in well and nothing is hindering the clutch lever or cylinder. There is also clunking going over big bumps. Does th clutch-induced clunk sound familiar with anyone? Has anyone had a clunk from the differential or is the moan/grind the most popular differential tune?
